2023 - Pongal Celebrations

The pongal celebration in our school, was a true manifestation of rich culture and traditions. The festival of Pongal was celebrated in our school premises on 13th Jan 2023. The day began with bright colorful decoration and our children arrived in traditional dress. As the morning beams of sunlight graced us, our beloved staffs & non teaching staffs prepared Pongal in traditional mud pots decorated with sugarcane around it. Cultural events were organized for the children such as dance performed and speech on the significance of the festival. Rangoli competition was also held to encourage parents to participate in school activities. The parents responded enthusiastically and demonstrated their secret talents by adorning gorgeous rangolis in various styles and colours. Our celebration ended on a sweet note by a distribution of the prepared Pongal to all students and staff.
